(The bar stays open 1 hour past the kitchen closing time above. Bar menu is served from 2:30 pm to ˝ hour after kitchen closes and 5:30 pm to 11:30 Saturday.)

Décor: Typical of DC the exterior of the 1001 Penn Building is high-rise business modern, but the interior of TenPenh transforms into celebrated Asian culture with silk wall coverings, a life size Buddha and an open Pagoda which centers on the exposed Kitchen. TenPenh's "Show" Pastry Kitchen is partially encased with glass walls so you can stroll by on 10th Street and observe Pastry Chef Norman Messer creating culinary delights.

Menu: Contemporary Asian-Pacific cuisine

Wine: Wines of France, New Zealand, Australia and United States, showcasing the best from boutique wineries. Several Sake's will be offered, both hot and cold.

Bar: Full service bar featuring a selection of unique specialty drinks and martinis, both bottled and draft beers from all reaches of the globe, specifically showcasing the Eastern World.

Dress Code: TenPenh's dress code is upscale casual. We welcome well-dressed guests as well as those that are casually dressed. Cut-off jeans, halter tops, tank tops, baseball caps, t-shirts and flip-flops are not acceptable.

Methods of Payment: Cash, American Express, Optima, MasterCard, Visa, Diner's Club, Carte Blanche, Discover and TenPenh Gift Certificates are all acceptable forms of payment. Personal checks are not accepted.

Gift Certificates: Are available in all denominations over $25.00 and can be ordered in person or by fax. If ordered in person, preferably not during peak hours. Can be ordered by fax with the following information: Letter of Intent (amount of gift certificate and name of recipient), Credit Card Number with Expiration date, Signature of cardholder, and Address to mail recipient.

Parking: Valet parking is available from 5:30 pm until closing for evening service. The charge for valet parking is $7.

Corkage: There is a $25 corkage fee for bottles of wine that are not purchased from TenPenh. Guests cannot bring in bottles of wine that are offered on TenPenh's wine list.

Location: TenPenh is located at 1001 Pennsylvania Street, N.W., at the corner of 10th and Pennsylvania. The nearest metro stop is Navy Archives at 7th and Pennsylvania on the Yellow/Green Lines. At the top of the escalator go right, up Pennsylvania 3 blocks. Coming from Virginia, take G.W. Parkway North to 14th Street Bridge, make right on Pennsylvania Avenue and go to 10th Street. Coming from Maryland 495, take B.W. Parkway South to New York Avenue, make left on 7th Street, turn right on Pennsylvania Avenue and follow 3 blocks for TenPenh.
